In Venezuela the tourism industry is not well-developed. International visitors find it frustrating, since the country itself is stunning. Hopefully the situation will soon change – the government is working on this subject. Another great problem is the criminal situation in the country. It is said that in Venezuela foreign travelers experience violence more often than anywhere else.
