7. Burning Man
Burning Man really is not an ordinary festival, but one of the coolest, craziest, most creative events in the world. It is actually a city, community, and everything that’s going on there is the work of its citizens, and active community of participants. Black Rock City, for a week, and for the past 29 years, becomes the intersection of artists, performers, scientists, actors, musicians and all those who are considered to be free and creative.
Anyone can participate in the Burning Man. In order to survive the spirit of giving, the Burning Manu seeks to create a social environment independent of sponsors, sales and advertising. This festival resists commercialization and consumerism. Fundamental values of Burning Man are unity and cooperation. The objective is the creation, protection and preservation of social networks, public spaces, works of art that encourage communication and interaction.
