7. Rabbit Beach, Sicilia, Italia

The beach is located on the small exotic island of Lampedusa located approximately halfway between Sicily and Tunisia. The beach which is the biggest attraction on the island, was named after a large number of rabbits that were once residents on this island.

The main features are fine white sand, clear and turquoise water. The beach is 200 meters long and is located in the southern part of the island. The best time to visit is the period from May to September. The best way to reach the island is by ferry from the port of Agrigento in Sicily. There is a smaller airport on the island.
