5. Rhossili Bay Beach, Wales

Maybe you will be surprised to find Wales on this kind of list, but this beach is truly a unique in its own way. It is 3 miles of golden sandy shore, a heaven for sand-castle builders.

It opens up to Atlantic Ocean and therefore it is perfect place for surfing. Due to the amazing waves and perfect surfing conditions you will encounter many of them here. There are many walking routes which will bring you to higher places from where you can see the beach in all of its glory. If you are lucky you may see dolphins or basking seals playing. The only downside is that there is no wheelchair access, because you get to it via steps from the village of Rhossili.
