These are three great waterfalls that make up the natural border between the United States and Canada. This is one of the most visited attractions in the world with over five million visitors a year. This place has long been recognized for its beauty, but it is also an important source for generating electricity.
It is name for three waterfalls – American Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. The water comes from Great Lakes and there are some estimation that river is 12,000 years old. Another interesting thing about waterfalls is that they were main Honeymoon destination. Also many people die trying to go down the falls in wooden barrels. It is another natural wonder that you can visit easily, of course if you live in US or Canada.
