5. Costa del Sol, Spain

Andalusian coastline of the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) is the southernmost, the hottest, most developed and most populous mainland coast of Spain. It stretches to about 160 km of coastline, from the port of Algeciras about to capital coast – Malaga.

Along the coast of the sea, even up to a few kilometers uphill (towards the crown of the mountains of the Sierra Nevada), numerous apartment complexes are lined up along with hotels with swimming pools and golf courses. Every couple of miles apartments and hotels turn to the settlement of large shopping malls, amusement parks, and landscaped parks with tropical plants. On large, mostly sandy beaches every corner during the summer season is packed with tourists, and there is not one beach that could be called hidden.
