The summit of the Matterhorn Mountain is 14,692 feet high. Matterhorn is in the list of highest summits in Europe and the Alps. This mountain is one huge & near-symmetrical pyramidal mountain. The Matterhorn is often called as “Mountain of Mountains”. This mountain has become one iconic and famous emblem of Swiss Alps & of the other Alps.
During the nineteenth century’s end, railway lines were constructed in this area and this mountain started getting more visitors & climbers. The Matterhorn is actually an isolated mountain and because of the mountain’s position on main Alpine’s watershed & its huge height, there are frequent and rapid weather changes in the Matterhorn.
