3. Floating Guava Market

Guava is tropical fruit that looks like a combination of a berry and an apple. It’s often called the apple of the tropics, and a lot of farmers in Bangladesh make their living selling Guavas. The really interesting thing about it, is how they sell it. It’s not your regular market with little stalls and displays, instead it takes place on boats in the middle of a river or a canal. The floating market tradition is more than a hundred years old and is definitely a must see when visiting Bangladesh.
