12. Beach Reynisfjara, Iceland

You might be surprised to read Iceland on the list of the most beautiful beaches, but once you look at the picture of Reynisfjara beach, you will realize that its place is justified completely.

Some beaches attract us with palm trees, crystal clear water and white sand, and others like this one, offers something more for the people who like a little bit of a different tourism, and something unusual. This beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs of basalt that once greeted the Vikings on their conquests. The sand is black and the cliffs are mesmerizing looking like work of an art. It is completely opposite of the other spots on our list, but that doesn’t make it any less beautiful.
